Reading Between the Lines
The Woman’s Club of Evanston has been making people laugh for a good cause for over sixty years in their annual Benefit Show. This year’s 66th Revue, titled “Reading Between the Lines,” is no exception.
Performances take place in our historic Evanston clubhouse for two consecutive weekends on March 3rd and 4th, and March 9th, 10th, and 11th at 8 PM.
Members of The Woman's Club of Evanston and this year’s beneficiary, Literature for All of Us, write, direct, choreograph, and perform an entertaining variety show to benefit this important local non-profit. The cast performs parodies of popular songs that feature a variety of subjects ranging from literature to social media and other current topics.
This event is an excellent way to support your local community and laugh out loud with your friends and neighbors, so bring them along!
Tickets are available for both premium (first three rows) and regular seats. Please visit our ticket sales page at http://wcerevue.eventbrite.com for more information.
About our Beneficiary: Literature for All of Us brings the rewards of reading and writing through book group discussions to young people in underserved neighborhoods. They build communities of readers, writers, and artists. They develop family literacy by providing children’s literature and child development resources to teen parents. They open worlds by opening books.
