Kate Curler, Principal Attorney at the Law Office of Kate Curler, will talk about her experiences building her law practice through the power of networking. Blending personal stories, providing tips and recommending resources, Kate will walk you through what she learned to build her practice from a business plan to a profitable business in 9 months.
Kate Curler began her legal career as an attorney in 2003 as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Lake County, Illinois and, later, worked for over 6 years at top Chicago family law firms.
Spurred on by personal experiences, Kate launched a practice in the fields of Elder law, Estate Planning, Disability Planning, Probate, Guardianship and senior advocacy. Kate has expanded her law office to include nursing home advocacy and coaching of caregivers in their many roles.

The EWIB is held the fourth Thursday each month at 11:30, this lunch event provides women an atmosphere conducive for great networking surrounding a different professional development topic.
