Harmonica legend Corky Siegel and star vocalist Lynne Jordan are back Dec. 10 with brand new music and a virtual holiday show you won’t want to miss! The LSCF is proud to bring you this online music spectacular with three recorded sets with Siegel and Jordan plus a live post-show discussion with Corky, Lynne and show producer John Anderson, a Grammy-nominated and Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker. To add to the excitement, Corky has written two new songs that he will premiere at this event. Tickets are free to the public, but advance registration is required. We are raffling off a fabulous holiday spirit gift basket, plus two lucky donors will be randomly selected to receive a Levy Senior Center membership or membership renewal. Everyone who donates during the concert will be entered into the raffle. This is a time for coming together to celebrate the season, and we look forward to “seeing” you at this special event. Not only do her soaring vocals dip effortlessly into blues, jazz, funk, rock, and even country but her bawdy personality wins over any crowd. Her talent so dazzled the Second City that the late Chicago film critic Roger Ebert declared her his “favorite diva.” he Jamming Jean Music Series, named in honor of a former Levy Center member, features music and musicians that reflect Evanston and its cultural diversity. |
