Free Outdoor Jamming Jean Concert with Gerald McClendon
Join us as we rock-and-roll this summer with a Jamming Jean Concert on Sept. 22 featuring the band Suite Mollie. The lively group of diversely talented artists will delight and energize the crowd with their own variety of funk, rock, soul, R&B and a little Jazz from time to time. With horns, a slammin' rhythm section, and powerful vocals, they know how to rock the crowd.
Look forward to tunes from fan favorites such as Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, Earth, Wind and Fire, Duffy, Amy Winehouse, Rick James, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Journey, Outkast, Dap Band, Al Green, Nora Jones, Liquid Soul, Parliament, Pharrell, and many more!
Thanks to generous support from the Levy Senior Center Foundation, this concert appeals to all ages and is free and open to the public. The concert will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 22 outside of the Levy Senior Center at 300 Dodge Street in Evanston. Food from The Fat Shallot and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Guests are asked to bring blankets/chairs and can bring their own
beverages for this outdoor event.
The Jamming Jean Music Series, named in honor of a form Levy Senior Center member, features music and musicians that reflect Evanston and its cultural diversity.
