FREE Hybrid Levy Longevity: Integrative Approaches to Aging Well with Leslie Mendoza Temple
Levy Senior Center Foundation Presents a Special Hybrid Levy Longevity: Integrative Approaches to Aging Well with Leslie Mendoza Temple
Age is just a number. Learn about the natural processes of aging, from the medical perspective, while looking at integrative, natural ways to slow down the inevitable march of time on bodily functions.
Dr. Temple will cover mind-body, nutrition, exercise, traditional Chinese medicine, medical cannabis, and other ways to enhance longevity and quality of life, no matter your age. She will also provide tips on making the most of your medical care in a challenging environment of decreased resources and increased complexity in the medical community.
Dr. Temple is the Owen L. Coon Endowed Chair of Integrative Medicine; the medical director of the Integrative Medicine Program at Endeavor Health; and a clinical professor of family medicine at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
This program will be held in person at the Levy Senior Center in the Locust Room, and online via Zoom. It's free, but advance registration is required. Be sure to submit your questions on the topic in the form when you register.
The Levy Longevity Series is designed to inform Seniors about topics related to aging well. Information is brought to you by the Levy Senior Center Foundation, and the Levy Senior Center.
