WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
COVID-19 Protocol: Our community’s health and safety is top priority. MashUp guests are REQUIRED to present proof of vaccination to enter the event OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test from within 72 hours of the event. Photos are acceptable.
THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS REQUIREMENT.
Face masks are required in all indoor spaces, although we encourage you to spend time outside, in the tent where face masks are optional.
Weather: H: 77, L: 57 The forecast is looking favorable but bring a jacket in case it gets cool.
How to Get There: Take the MashUp Trolley! The Howard Red/Purple line CTA station is just a few blocks away from the Palmhouse and a trolley will be running from the station to the Palmhouse throughout the evening. Additionally, if you are driving, you may park at the S+P parking lot ($5-$11) at 7474 N Rogers Ave, behind the CTA station, and walk to meet the MashUp trolley on Howard. There is no parking at Palmhouse. See map.
Donations: Palmhouse and Peckish Pig are collaborating with Evanston Fight for Black Lives in keeping a community pantry stocked for anyone who needs it. Please consider donating non-perishable goods at the MashUp - cans of soup, boxes of pasta, etc.
After-party: MashUp partner Good to Go Jamaican is hosting an after-party - for those who want to party on - just down the street at 711 W Howard St.

Brought to you by the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, The City of Evanston and Northwestern University it’s an evening of connecting, sharing stories, meeting friends old and new, all while savoring some amazing eats from many of Evanston's leading restaurateurs, celebrating all things Evanston, and enjoying some local music.
The last MashUp was held in 2019 at Northwestern University with over 900 of our community's best.
We’ve had a decade of annual MashUps! Last year, we of course were sheltering in place--not in a tent with hundreds of other Evanstonians--and that was, to understate it, tough.
This year we are so pleased to be coming together again, especially since MashUp is being held at one of the hottest new event venues, Palmhouse, an Evanston-based 10,000 square foot event and music space as well as on Callan Street to give us a proper BLOCK PARTY experience.
MashUp 2021: Welcome Back, Evanston BLOCK PARTY! - will be an evening of reconnecting, savoring tasty treats from a variety of Evanston's eateries and breweries, and enjoying an incredible array of entertainment and best of all it's all for a great cause. Proceeds from the MashUp will fuel the Chamber's services for our city's small businesses, many of whom are owned by people of color, struggling to rebuild in this new normal. We will also be giving away MashUp Moola again to recognize the extraordinary efforts of Evanstonians during the pandemic.
