Empowering Small Businesses Workshop: When Should I Consider Taking on Debt
The Evanston Chamber of Commerce, City of Evanston and Evanston Community Bank & Trust have partnered together to host a series of free workshops designed for Evanston’s small business owners and entrepreneurs. The series, titled “Empowering Small Businesses,” features five sessions focused on varied topics, and each workshop will feature presentations by different, local experts. Participants are welcome to come to all of the workshops in the series, or to pick and choose the sessions and topics that are most applicable for you!
All workshops take place at Evanston Community Bank & Trust, located at 901 Grove St., from 9:00-10:30am on every Wednesday in October. Coffee and light bites provided.
Workshop Five:
Learn what you need to know to apply for a business loan, when you are ready to take on debt for your business, and how to navigate the lending process.
Meet the Presenters – Meghan Pulver:
Meghan Pulver is a Vice President of Small Business Lending with over 20 years of banking experience. She has been at Evanston Community Bank and Trust, a Wintrust Bank, for over 10 years. Meghan covers Evanston, Skokie, Sauganash, and Ravenswood. She enjoys helping small businesses achieve their goals and fulfill their dreams using her experience, expertise, and the tools that Wintrust Bank offers. Meghan is a resident of Evanston.
Meet the Presenters – Don Cortelyou:
Don Cortelyou is a Vice President, Business Development Officer with over 35 years of banking experience. He has worked with Wintrust Bank for over 5 years covering Uptown, Edgewater, Andersonville, Rogers Park, and Evanston. Don’s experience has exclusively worked for community banks as he enjoys engaging all neighborhoods and cities he serves.
