Chris Madsen’s Kings of the Lobby in concert. Kings of the Lobby, founded in 2015 by saxophonist Chris Madsen, plays his arrangements of pop/rock/R&B songs from the 70s through the 90s. The band combines elements of jazz and funk to reinterpret this classic repertoire and highlight Madsen's unique arranging style. This concert will be recorded live for Chicago Jazz Live on WDCB.
This concert is on Friday, October 25 at 8 p.m.
Cash bar, light snacks and free street parking. Doors open for cocktails and socializing at 7:30 p.m.
