Bustling downtown Evanston is about to get even hotter this June as it rolls out the welcome mat of creativity, that is Evanston Chamber of Commerce Fountain Square Artisan SummerFest.
Held just steps north of downtown’s eponymous (and recently renovated) Fountain Square, the North Shore’s oldest fine arts happening is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2019. Presented by the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, it will showcase an inspirational mix of juried handiwork from nearly 100 eclectic artists.
For the young one’s there will be an activity area with interactive projects overseen by the Evanston Art Center and Art Encounter. And to keep things jumping, we will have food and beer/wine vendors, and entertainment courtesy of strolling street musicians and performers.

Your Evanston Chamber needs your help with the following:
- Greeter at the gate
- Assisting with hospitality for the participating artists
- Serving at Beer/Wine Tent - must be 21 years old
- Chamber Booth
Volunteers work in 2 1/2 to 3 hour shifts

Pet Adoption by Community Animal Rescue Efforts

Community Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.™) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization with a mission to serve the communities of Chicago's North Shore by fostering and supporting healthy, positive relationships between people and companion animals. C.A.R.E. rehomes companion pets into safe, healthy, lifelong homes; serves as an educational and counseling resource; and works to reduce pet overpopulation.
