Manipulation and Victimization: A Music Therapy Treatment Approach for Cult and Abuse Survivors
Explore how thought reform, mind control, and manipulation are used in cult and abuse relationships. Based on the work of Robert Lifton, the speaker will describe and demonstrate how music therapy interventions can be designed to provide opportunities for healing and developing a new sense of identity, trust, self-esteem, and the ability to create healthy relationships with healthy boundaries.
