Name: Across the Table Outdoor Dinner at the YWCA
Date: August 13, 2018
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM CDT
Event Description:

Join Across the Table for our first ever outdoor dinner at the YWCA Evanston/North Shore! Like all of Across the Table dinners, we will be seated comfortable around a table but this table will be outside, on the lawn of the YWCA!

Of course the weather will be perfect (ok, my fingers are crossed!) and we will enjoy the warmth and the sunshine while we enjoy a delicious meal and have a thought-provoking, insightful, challenging and fun conversation!

Our topic of conversation will be:
What does it mean to have freedom?
We will explore where freedom comes from, who is entitled to it (is anyone, everyone?) and how free we feel in our day to day lives. We will talk about what limits our freedom and how much power we have to change those limitations.

This dinner is being co-facilitated by Lauren Grossman and Yeefah Thurman. To read more about Yeefah and Lauren, visit: www.acrossthetable.org/meet-the-team.

This dinner is BYOB so please feel free to bring a beverage for yourself or to share if you'd like!
